INTENTION

This introduction course gives you some basic but extremely effective ways to make sure your sharing or yoga/ movement is more trauma sensitive.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Any yoga, movement or mediation teacher. No matter if you have been teaching/ facilitating for a long time or if you are brand new to this work, there is always something to reflect on and learn.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  1. Experience a trauma sensitive practice guided by me.

  2. Through a presentation (with interaction invited) information about trauma, what it is and how it affects the body and brain.

  3. Simple ways to adapt your offering so that it is more trauma sensitive e.g. your language, touch, the environment, permissions and invitations, choice.

FEEL - HOW WE LEARN TOGETHER

The hours we spend together learning online are offered in the spirit of curiosity, inquiry and collaboration. This is not a top down learning. Your learning will be enriched through sharing your experiences, questions, skills and insights as a group and through experiential practice.

  • Committing to the course is really important to make sure you get as much out of it as possible. Please make sure the meeting dates and times work for you before you book.

  • All payments are non refundable. As a small business I am not in the position to refund monies once they have been taken. If your life circumstances change and you can’t make the course you are welcome to roll the booking to a future date, or sell it on privately to someone.

  • I reserve the right to cancel the training if needed if an emergency arises. If so, you will be refunded in full or you can roll your payment to a future course.
