ABOUT ME
A little about me…
I’ve had many different work paths over the years, all of which have revolved around supporting people. I’ve worked for local government departments and charities in mental health, learning disabilities and human rights. More recently I’ve worked in community mental health settings and Mill View Mental Health Hospital. I am passionate about offering others the best possible support. I just can’t imagine doing anything else.
If you already know I am a yoga teacher, trainer and therapist, it won’t come as a surprise to hear that I love mind body practices. The truth is, I love all things that involve moving, ( walking, running, swimming, climbing, paddle boarding) and resting (meditation, reading, day dreaming, watching TV, guided relaxation the lot). I am a firm believer in balance.
I am also a nature nut. I spend as much time as I can in nature, by the coast in the woodlands or in my garden. Nature is a huge resource in my life and I deeply believe connecting to her supports my mental and physical health.
I am AuDHD. I am a late diagnosed woman with Autism and self diagnosed ADHD. I live my own experience of this in a life surrounded by other neurodiverse souls making their way in a neurotypical world. I am pretty sure I’m dyslexic too, just never bothered taking the test (look out for typos!).
