The rhythm of the retreats

Whilst all half day retreats offer a similar rhythm and flavour, all the practices shared are unique to the season, the weather and the group on the day.

There is nothing expected of you on the day

You are invited to participate as much or as little as you like. Join in everything or simply come, lie in comfort and snooze.

A cozy meditation space with a cushioned meditation bench topped with folded blankets and a small purple pouch, set on a wooden floor. In the background, there is a circular arrangement of dried flowers, leaves, and natural elements on a cloth, with large glass doors showing a green outdoor landscape.

  • The hope is to provide opportunities to be outside as much as the weather permits.

    The retreat includes

    • An opening circle and ritual.

    • A movement practice to evoke and attune to the season’s energies.

    • A nourishing vegan snack and herbal tea.

    • A nature connection practice in community or solo.

    • A practice that is gentle and restorative in nature.

    • A closing circle and ritual.

    • All bodies and abilities are welcome, regardless of injury or age (16yr up only).

    • You don’t need any previous yoga experience. You don’t need to be fit or bendy.

    • The venue is very accessible, ramps, smooth, wide doors, ample parking and toilets.

    • To create space and time for you to tap into and enjoy the offering and energy of the season you are in, so you can feel more aligned with her rhythm.

    • To experience something outside of the realm of doing, achieving or striving. You are free to use your time how you wish on the day to take what you need and leave what you don’t.

    • To be in community with others. These half day retreats give you space and time immerse yourself in the gifts of the season.
