YOGA THERAPY
“Yoga therapy is the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups.”
Client sessions
Private sessions are the perfect place to feel safe with the practice, take it at your own pace and build confidence.
I want a session. What do I need to do?
Please email me and let me know that you’d like to try a session. I will email you a form to complete. The form gives me some of your health history and what you are coming to sessions to work on/ with. Having read the form I will ask if you would like a 10min call before we meet. If this isn’t desired/ needed we will arrange a time and place for our first session.
What happens in a yoga therapy session?
I offer practices and share psycho-education around the areas of yoga that you have interest in (meditation/ movement/ breath/ relaxation/ sound/ devotion etc).
Each session is designed to meet you where you are in the moment, speak to your interests and to thread in practices that support the improvements you wish to see in your wellbeing.
How many sessions do I need?
We start with one and together make a decision in person or later as to whether we’d like to meet for more sessions. There is no obligation for this to be the case. One of sessions are often very powerful.
How regularly we meet is up to you and my schedule. Though it might be worth knowing in my experience the greatest benefits are drawn from regular sessions.

How much do they cost?
I offer a sliding scale in the hope of making this service more accessible.

£55 - Your finances allow you to live comfortably, and you don't need to be overly considerate of spenditure. You have access to steady and reliable income. You are able to afford treats and luxuries in moderation.
£65 - You have access to reliable income, have access to financial security either through high income and/or savings. You are able to spontaneously afford luxuries and/or treats without needing to make trades or cut backs.
